OUR STORY

Hello and welcome, my name is Summer J. Robinson. I’m an Atlanta-based writer, filmmaker, and storyteller dedicated to helping others preserve their legacies through the written word. I’ve been telling stories for as long as I can remember—first in my journals, then through short stories, screenplays, books, and films. Since 2014, I’ve written professionally and built a body of work that bridges creative expression, cultural preservation, and healing through storytelling.

I published my first book, Discovering Summer Abroad: A Teen’s Journey to Africa, in 2014. That same year, I ghostwrote my first autobiography for Sheila Baltazar, a mother who lost her son to the Atlanta Child Murders. Since then, I’ve written and edited stories for individuals, nonprofits, and small businesses seeking to share their truth and impact through writing.

Through my company Silver Bangles Productions, I offer publishing, ghostwriting, and author coaching services alongside film and documentary projects that celebrate Black storytelling traditions and lived experience.

Over the years, I’ve witnessed how revisiting one’s life on the page can be both powerful and transformative. Each of us has a story worth telling—my work is to help you tell it, honor it, and share it with the world.
