Senior to Senior:
An Intergenerational Storytelling Project
Bridging generations through story.
Senior to Senior is an after-school memoir writing and oral history program that pairs high school students with local elders to record, write, and preserve life stories. Together, they build relationships, honor legacy, and create professionally published memoirs.
About the Program
Senior to Senior was created by Silver Bangles Productions to preserve the stories of our elders while teaching young people the power of storytelling. Through twice-weekly sessions, students interview, record, and write the memoirs of elder community members — documenting wisdom, love, and life lessons across generations.
Each partnership results in a published memoir and a documentary film celebrating the shared journey of storytelling, healing, and legacy.
